Role of the editor-in-chief in improving the review process
Scientific review in journals is performed under the supervision of three figures, namely editor-in-chief, reviewer, and author. The editor-in-chief applies his/her scientific opinions on the articles in two stages:
1) Initial screening of the articles
2) external peer review
